When the records are all declassified, my guess is that we will see John Brennan's hands in the mix here. The question that should be asked is who inspired the guests at the Tower meeting to contact the Trump campaign in the first place. If the inspiration can be traced back to the USG, what are the implications? Entrapment??
I have to assume that Donald Jr. will be getting a pardon at some point.
