How much did the military spend yesterday? $1.8 billion
Lockheed Martin was yesterday's big winner with an Air Force contract worth $390 million. The work will involve producing air-to-surface missiles and separation text vehicles.
A smaller award, in the form of a $7.5 million modification (increase) went to Applied Defense Solutions for “non-governmental space situational awareness services.”

Oh, it seems you made the common mistake of assuming money had something to do with those outside of the military industrial complex. You see, nations, governments, the military and the financial systems are just different departments of the global human farming system - if they didn't spend most of the money on the military then how would the human animals be kept safe from the threats... that.. the military creates?
