Mexican election Results are in - Surprise! More ultra left wing Socialism - My plea for reconciliation

Lopez Obrador is the new President Elect of Mexico and there are a few things that can said about him to be sure. I wanted to show the best example of an Olive branch being extended by him to the U.S.A. first though in case things will get better. I searched for a while to find him saying something nice about us up here but well, there wasn't much out there but a 1 minute clip where he kind of, sort of did that. It seems more to me that he wants our respect but then says he is only speaking for the immigrant workers in the US so,, I don't think the next few years are going to improve our relationship much.

It is tough for me to find easy things to post in regard to what all his positions are but it is safe to say one of his primary platform positions is a promise to assist in the lawless invasion of Mexican citizens into the US to fund his corrupt government through the remission tax process. Here he is basically campaigning in California, foreign country to him, for votes by kissing the butts of the people who live there regardless of their citizenship status. Oddly enough, there are a good amount of people comparing him to Donald Trump but in a very reversed, flipped way. The both carry the moniker of populist and claim to be the one who will finally "drain the swamp" that is present in both of our political systems for instance. The way they olan to go about will not be more different though. Time will tell, again, who has the right ideas on how to fix these kind of problems.

I'm trying to be as fair as possible in this article so I picked a clip From PBS News Hour, a left wing media outlet here in the US. It is an assessment of his platform and the general atmosphere in Mexico that led up to the election.

I don't how any of his ideas are going to make anything better for the people of Mexico, it can't be more wrong and historically ignorant than any other plan I have ever heard. There is no way corruption will not increase in the next few years rather than decrease if he only plans on embarrassing a few politicians and replacing them with more of the same type of person. The idea that increasing government spending by the billions will not invite more problems is absolutely insane and has never, ever had that intended effect since time began, we all know this because it's common sense. Numbers don't lie folks, increasing the welfare increases poverty and criminality, proven fact. I can write an entire article filled with the requisite graphs and economic reports if anyone would like to learn more, please comment if so.

Below I posted a campaign speech from Trump to show how shallow these comparisons to him really are. I think the left is desperate for a hero and are grasping at straws. Obrador is not Trump, he will never be as successful because he will never take responsibility like Trump does. Obrador plays the blame game and gives false promises that take advantage of a people in need of hope, he is Obama 2.0 and will only drag the country of Mexico down like Obama did here.

If you watched the last few videos back to back you can start seeing how adversarial all this has become. There is massive and stark difference in the goals of our countries, this will only end in suffering for at least one side if not both.

I for one am tired of this paradigm and would like to see my neighbor as my friend. No one living can truly take all the credit for the US and Mexico living in opposition, it has always been this way. I wouldn't mind writing the complete history of our relations out but for the sake of brevity I will go to where I believe the rift really started and began to shape the present day dynamic. It is when they wrote the current Mexican constitution, based on the now defunct Weimar Republic's, that's right, they are still trying to keeo that ideology going. We really had the power in the United States to meddle successfully in their country for the first time in that era as well and sure did so. I am not denying that we fought before this period but not like this guys, in the past it was for territory and resources but not the fundamental way everyone in society has to live their everyday lives like we do in the present day struggles.

I truly believe these events have formed a generational rift based on philosophy that hasn't gone away. I would say this has proven left wing / socialist policies stop a country's growth dead in its tracks and scare off every international investor that isn't crooked and willing to work with the like minded bureaucrats to make fortunes together. Those who disagree with me or feel the need to say that their brand of socialism will be the true form of it that will finally work correctly, be my guest, but I can keep coming up with more societies that were growing in size, prosperity and overall happiness before they went left and ended their civilization abruptly, history is on my side and the death toll is on yours in that debate.

On a personal note, I really want this get fixed and wrote this article out of sorrow for the time that will be lost over the next term under Mexico's new president. More damage to our nations' relationship is inevetable over the next 6 years and this is on top of all the resentment that already exists. The new leadership promises more of everything that the average person in the US doesn't want, including the drugs, gangs, illegal workers and increased burden on our social services, it is like they are angry we asked them to stop all this. I don't believe that if you ask someone in a relationship with you to stop abusive behavior it is acceptable for the other party to double down on said abuse and tell you deserve it, just saying.
