Let's Ban Crypto! Protect the US Empire! - US Rep. Defends Interests of the War Machine

in #news5 years ago (edited)

I couldn't help but make a video covering and in response to this madness! US Representative Sherman introduces a bill to ban cryptocurrency in America late last week, and it couldn't be any more obvious the reason behind this ridiculous move - Mr. Sherman is clearly defending the interests of the western war machine and US Empire... Not even trying to hide his true colors and exactly whose interests he is representing in Washington here; and it definitely isn't the common people if that comes as any shock at all.

Mr. Sherman in this move says he is seeking to protect the following - all of which he says are threatened by cryptocurrency: US foreign policy (of imperialism, war and destruction), the ability of big oil to clear money through the FED, standard law enforcement's ability to collect taxes (which coincidentally pay for the war that big oil is partly behind), and the effectiveness of sanctions on Iran (which are coincidentally & admittedly starving innocent people there).

This representative also actually wants you to believe there are no legitimate uses for cryptocurrency; and that only terrorists, criminals, and tax evaders use crytpo - so does that make everyone on Steemit & D-tube terrorists, criminals, tax evaders or all three?!? I hope you enjoy the video. (A copy should also soon be on D-Tube as well...)

The entire crypto market isn't big enough to support terrorists or drug sales.

Only the largest banks are currently that big.

Thanks for sharing this. I hope more people see how governments will always attack cryptocurrencies and that is why we have to remain as involved as possible to combat that. Upvoted. Resteemed.

It’s good to see them trying so vehemently to stop their demise. It will not be stopped, there are so many invested and involved in it that it wouldn’t have any hope.

The other thing that would end up happening in this circumstance, the bill would get modified to code in a government-operated crypto is the only one that is legal. It’s kind of like what happened before the FED was established; there were a litany of monetary notes among various states and cities. They centralized their power with success because so many had no idea. Now there’s much more access to information, I don’t think it would succeed.

I have to say, I'm surprised it didn't happen earlier. That being said, another ban on precious metal shouldn't be far behind...

But the Bitcoin price is moving up up up ;)
