In July, allegations of electricity bill excesses coming up in July

Customers are complaining that the July postpaid electricity bill has more to come in the capital Dhaka. Customers of Dhaka Power Distribution Company Limited (DPDC) and Dhaka Electric Supply Company Limited (DESCO) Aawatna area say that the electricity bill has more than the last few months. Someone has received almost twice as many billions as the previous month.

Authorities say the new organization has been given the responsibility of meter readings since July. In that case, it will be examined whether the electricity bill was billed in July for the month of the previous month (unit excluded for bill). Customers have been asked to report their complaints to the electricity authority in their respective areas.

Most of the areas of Dhaka including Narayanganj DPDC. On the other hand, some parts of Mirpur, Bashundhara residential area, Gulshan, Baridhara and Gazipur DESCO area. DPDC and DESCO have talked to some electricity users in the area, suddenly their electricity bill was more than in July.
