An AI-assisted e-tongue for fast and portable fingerprinting of complex liquids

Hypertaste is a small circular gadget that is partially introduced into the liquids to be analyzed, is inspired by the functioning of the sense of human taste and allows to detect and analyze different types of liquids in less than a minute.

This device uses IBM's artificial intelligence and a series of multisensitive electrochemical sensors to analyze and identify the desired fluids.

All the data collected by the sensors are sent to the cloud, there an AI algorithm, compares them with the data of thousands of known fluids and, in less than a minute, we will have the result on our mobile phone.

Obviously this will be very useful in the pharmaceutical and health sector, but it could also be useful for analyzing water quality or counterfeit drinks.
