NO...IT'S NOT PARANOIA...THE UNITED NATIONS REALLY IS COMING FOR YOUR WEAPONS, FELLOW AMERICANS.
You know the old saying, "just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't really coming for you?" Well, patriots for decades have been warning that an emerging world-government centered around the horrificly oligarchical and megalo-bureaucratic United Nations would be the vehicle that would eventually be at the center of such a plan. They have warned that the United States Constitution (especially the 2nd Amendment) is probably the lone remaining bulwark against global tyranny.
Now, it is emerging more clearly than ever that the U.N.really does have its sights set on the American gun owner. Consider this quote from a leading U.N. bureauRAT:
"The United Nations is pushing a ‘Global Week of Action’ to spur disarmament across the world. The international body is urging countries to adopt strict gun control policies to stop the scourge of firearm violence.
“Every day, hundreds of lives are lost due to gun violence worldwide,” the UN Disarmament Affairs chief, Izumi Nakamitsu said. “Guns are responsible for about half of all violent deaths – nearly a quarter-million each year.”
No, Dear Mr. Nakamisu, PEOPLE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL THESE DEATHS. If they didn't use guns, then they would use machetes and knives. If they didn't have those, then they would use sticks and rocks. And, if you managed, somehow, to pass "global laws" against those, they would beat others to death with their fists, or choke them to death with their hands. You can not legislate evil out of the hearts of men.
"The UN is also making the connection to Agenda 21, now re-branded the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. This plan is to transform local communities through zoning restrictions in order to pack people into dense living spaces and prevent economic development to supposedly help the environment."
Agenda 21 is tied in with the U.N.'s desire for a global gun ban. You can not understate the importance to the U.N. of being able to enforce their land clearance agendas. They will never be able to build their Orwellian U.N. city/prisons without the total control of the means of deadly force.
The patriots of America, and the freedom-loving people of other nations as well, are the biggest threat to U.N.'s desired goal of total global domination.
But...are there enough good guys left? Do they have access to the means of resistance? We must be sure that they always do.

Anyway yes sir! I think the UN does one thing well and that's
food distribution to some poor countries but other than that I have
always seen them as a threat and a joke. It was very scary to see our last president act like he was trying to give his authority over the them in regards to the U.S. We should stop our share of funding and not take part in their Globalist schemes.

Right on. AND, trust me, they do an EXTREMELY poor job distributing aid, also. It rarely gets to anyone that actually needs it.

Exactly, or they wind up in the hands of warlords who may have made the local U.N. leaders happy with some free tribal hookers, etc....
