Nikki Haley Confirms US Will Now Attack Syria for “Any Attack” on Idlib

17 Ruinous and Fruitless Years After 9/11, US Looks to Face-Saving Peace Talks with Taliban Before Exiting Afghanistan

In Afghanistan, locals will soon mark 17 years of destruction and death across their country, where invading Western forces have accomplished little save for the utter shredding of a country’s social fabric, the erection of a tottering, unstable government, and a swollen price tag for a war that now costs $45 billion per year and is the longest war in U.S. history.

It is. Have you heard of the upcoming March on the Pentagon?

I haven't and can't march anyway, but I firmly believe that technological innovation offers far more hope of changing the paradigm than waving placards and being beaten by thugs.

Mao said that real power comes from the barrel of a gun. He's been obsolete for a while now. What he probably should have said is that technology that enables individuals to effect their security against oppression is real power - but he was intent on oppression, and guns were the bleeding edge of security tech at the time.

Not anymore. Extant power is not so much emitted from guns, as banks. Not bullets but credits keep us in thrall. The concatenation of crypto, 3D printing, AI, mesh networks, and much, much more is making corporations, banks, and wars obsolete.

I don't want to beat up the thugs. I want to make them powerless, forever.

War is the enemy, and it's obsolete.

Thank you!
