Opera Release Reborn 3 with Crypto and More
Opera released their Reborn 3 (Opera 60) browser today, with some exciting new features! Along with the redesign of the window, pictured here, it supports Web-3 and has a built-in crypto wallet.
I've been using Opera for around two years now, and I love it. I initially started using it since I tend to have a million tabs open at once, and unlike chrome (at least at the time) if one tab crashes in Opera, it doesn't crash the whole browser. The built in ad-blocker was also a plus.
The new version includes a built-in crypto wallet, which I haven't tested yet, but is definitely indicative of the development team looking towards the future for what they should include. I recently verified that the Steem keychain extension works on Opera, so no worries about the built-in wallet not supporting multi-key cryptocurrencies.
It also includes web-3 support, meaning it's moved on from the internet of yesteryear, and you can use some crypto functions natively now. According to their release, they've got built in signing for ethereum and eth dApps, and wallet functionality for more (unspecified).
Finally, they've added a built-in VPN as well, so you can protect all your information without any extra work.
I know a lot of people here use Brave, which I've installed but found a bit off-putting. I'd suggest y'all give Opera a try though, especially if you're still using Chrome (privacy sucks), Firefox, or, God forbid, safari or IE.

Thanks for the info! Do users have to pay to use the built-in VPN? It seems like Opera would not be able to offer this feature for free for all users.

Looks like it's free & unlimited, but it might not be a true VPN. All the articles I found on it are old though so can't be sure.
