World's Tallest Statue of Unity inaugurate by PM Narendra Modi in October 2018

Statue of Unity is a tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and It supposed to inaugurate on 31st October,2018 (On Birth Anniversary Of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel) by Our PM Mr. Narendra Modi. Let’s take a look at some information about : 1. Stute of Unity 2. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel

1. Statue Of Unity

Statue of Unity is being built at Kevadia near Sardar Sarovar Dam, Narmada District, Gujarat. It supposed to be the tallest statue in the world. It is 182 meters (597.11 feet). It will be twice the height of Lady Liberty.

Michael Graves Architecture & Design (MGA&D) is the design Architect for the tallest statue of unity. It is being built with 63000 MT of concrete, 5500MT of Structural Steel, 1850 MT of Bronze. Bronze is used as exterior panel to give shape of body.

A museum, Audio Visual Gallary on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s life, Research Centre, Laser, light and sound show and a garden is under development at Statue of Unity.

2. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was born on 31st October, 1875 in Nadiad, Guajrat. Vallabhbhai Patel’s parents: Father Jhaverbhai and mother Lad Bai and his Wife Jhaverba, Maniben and Dahyabhai were their children.

He was the Ironman Of India. He was a political and social leader of India and played a major role to make India a united and independent nation. He was addressed as “SARDAR”. Vallabhbhai Patel was a successful lawyer and inspired by Mahatma Gandhi. After that he organised the Kheda Satyagraha and Bardoli Satyagraha.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was Independent India’s First Deputy Prime Minister, Home Minister and IB Minister.
