The collapse of public services in Venezuela
Let's start with Water
A vital service, very important to do daily tasks, wake up in the morning and go surprise, there is no water, a service that you pay despite being cheap here, you pay, you think you can count on the services but no, I understand when there are failures and maintenance is carried out, but the water does not leave for a few hours, it goes away for days, today is day three in my city where I do not know what it is to bathe normally, cook, brush my teeth, even drink water, it really is a decadence and it fills me with immense sadness to see how nothing is working.
It is uncomfortable, it is unacceptable and not very human, I know that many countries suffer from droughts and we must take care of the water that is vital for life, but right now I complain about bad service, my area is a mountainous region with constant rain, many rivers and effluents, so I know that it is not because of lack of resources, but because of a lack of skilled labor and the mismanagement that this government has given to public services.
Now we go with the Light
As if that were not enough, the light goes out, and not for a few minutes, but for hours and hours and hours, living in darkness we have to make a life that is not normal, when the sun goes out we are left in darkness, many times I can not work from my computer for a full day because of the lack of power, so here you are condemned to die of hunger because you can not even make extra money through your computer, I think more through a computer right now Venezuelans are making more profits than through their common jobs and I explain why. Now, yesterday I arrived at my house and there was no light or water, I think I have arrived at my cavern "huga, huga!"
The internet lines fail
Besides that the service is already disastrous in itself, when the obvious light goes out there is no, but when the light arrives it takes hours to arrive even days, we have to look for alternatives to be able to work and it is quite hard, it is frustrating, because besides to be a means of work is the information window for thousands of Venezuelans, is the way for us to find out what is happening in the world and even in our country, because they already know the barrier in the media that exists in Venezuela, because It is not a normal country, it is a country under dictatorship. Or are they going to tell me that in a democracy the media are censored?
Well how are we going ?, without light, internet and water and this is nothing; continuous:
There is no public transport
It is a myth, it is nonexistent, little by little they have been damaged and their owners have not taken measures to fix buses, taxis, etc; It is very expensive, above when I was referring to many Venezuelans take more advantage of the Internet to work than their own work is because of this, because reaching distant jobs is very difficult, you can see people walking miles a day, from their home to jobs or vice versa, now we see that adding the economic problem and food acquisition along with this, an unbalanced diet and people who walk miles daily that we have as a result: malnutrition states, the sport is good but adding a healthy diet, I call this the diet of communism. Such has been the situation that people are using a kind of "kennels" or cages to transport themselves, unusual and decadent.
We added a little bit of this and that, little by little we got closer to the time where people lived with candles and candelabras, where water was limited, the Internet did not exist and the most important thing was to survive with what you had and it did not matter evolve, only the days and hours passed in places away from any trace of civilization.
Did you think it was just these services? Well, no; still missing:
No Gasoline
Yes, Venezuela, oil, gasoline, queues of days, to fill a tank of gasoline, now I see why many prefer to walk, it is outrageous to waste so much time on something that should take a few minutes, lose so much of our lives in queues , amargarnos, release for things like these, the most detestable is when you are in the queue and the light goes, it is a feeling of anger that makes you want to climb running to a mountain to shout from the rooftops everything you think of this government so useless, so destructive, so gross because I do not have another word to summarize, a country where it seems that a devastating hurricane happened.
No gas to cook
Again an oil country without gas ?, That's right, and an image says more than a thousand words:
Cash does not exist and I do not know what an ATM is now
I know that many will read this and say how is this possible ?, Well yes, in Venezuela there is no cash, also if there was something to pay with cash it is a mockery, I would have to carry sacks full of bills, I have like 5 years that I do not money from a cashier, and when you can get some money at an ATM, you form a kilometer queue to get an amount that is not enough to pay for a taxi. So this is the thing, you will say why do not you use cards to pay, then I explain:
In a country where Internet networks and communication signals fall, light goes out, etc. It is not always possible to use a point of sale:
Drop the sign of the points of sale
Sometimes it is so frustrating to buy something that I prefer not to leave my house, it can happen that to pay something there is a huge queue because the point of sale passes the cards very slowly, or simply does not pass them. Do you already feel in the caverns? How not to live frustrated like that?
Medicine as a Public Service
As many should know there are medical services that are free or cheaper in some countries, in Venezuela there are hospitals and clinics, hospitals are public services, where if you go you must attend without high costs, usually used by low-income people, today in a day, attending a hospital is to gain a safe depression, people dying, waiting without stretchers, on the floor, women having children in hospital corridors, lack of medicines, eradicated diseases that have returned, this is crazy, and in Venezuela the humanitarian channels are closed, in case they had a doubt about the dictatorship, "Maduro" wants us dead, I think that every day, this part of health in Venezuela is an extensive, complex and very delicate issue, which I will address in a specific way because It is inhuman that there is a situation like this.
Images with strong content:
Why have not I left?
It is very simple to say it for people who have a salary that allows them to travel easily or saving to a country, really getting money is not so easy for a large number of Venezuelans and if they get them you will find obstacles that seem absurd in some places, a of them: The Passport, if taking a passport in Venezuela is almost impossible, I do not even want to detail this much, but sometimes you go through immigration where they give passports and there are people sleeping outside, it is ridiculous when in other countries granting a passport is something simple, and there are many things that can be said why it is not so easy to leave, personally I have not left because I try to get a little more money (something not so simple), and do not believe that leaving the family is a so simple decision, I think it day and night, it gives me pain to leave my country and leave it like this, uninhabitable, it is an extremely difficult situation, complicated, sad, hopefully and to the machine of the time that goes back to accommodate and start adding years forward, hopefully this will change, because if it continues like this only ashes remain in this country. In the end no decision is easy, leave or stay, are difficult times for Venezuela really.
I hope you read me and leave your comments, I will be reading, a big hug!
certainly, nowadays in our country, the deficit of the services violates the possibilities of the population to have a better quality of life. Every day the faults in the electrical system and water scarcity damage the Venezuelan.
In addition, added to the economic problem, it is not fair that part of not being able to acquire appliances are damaged by a drop of light.
It's an overwhelming situation.
they voted for socialism, were to weak to fight the socialist looters (as they always become) and now enjoy the benefits of it. did you cheer the chavists? where you yada yada anti america?
yeah yeah... now you would love to see the american empire quickly remove everyone that has exploited the situation for years... or maybe you are from the other side of the fence, in your acienda, saying that those poor shit deserved to have nothing while the ranch was looted... how to know?
I hope you stay safe, and good luck here on steemit! Hopefully this can be a good form of income for you and your family!
Thank you very much, if it is sometimes when I get good profits, the rest is only for something from day to day, Venezuela is really very expensive right now for Venezuelans because of the salary that is earned and the inflation.

What a situation. So it probably took you weeks to post this article on Steemit. Is cryptocurrency usable in Venezuela?
When there are services I take advantage of publishing what I can, I usually have the articles already made on the computer, and it is not totally "legal" but there are ways to change it to the local currency.
You write the harsh truth, I think rather you stay short. It looks like a horror movie, as you say a time machine, but backwards. Total Decidia.
The collapse in services is due to lack of maintenance and inability to function
meanwhile maduro and his boys...
what do you think about an american invasion (aka elimination of the entire privileged class and letting venezualans another chance toward a better future)? myself, I am not sure that over population isn't right now a problem in a better future... the gap is increasing between was is necessary and what is available... I take the example of violence in the street, and ask myself if first a real collapse is not first necessary... and I am speaking of big loss... to breach the narrative of the so called gangs and co... you know to bring humility from the top (maduro and his boys) those around and the favellas gangs?
what is the path forward? because in itself the removal and elimination of the entire regime, is quite easy... it's next step... at least there isn't (yet) islamists :).
Terrible conditions. Sadly I also know what this is like first hand. While my situation is not quite as bad, some groups in my country have it far worse than I do. Like in your country, everything here is failing, fast! Politicians don't care and just fight each other and try to grab money for themselves. It's sick to watch. Then to top it all off they keep raising rates and taxes!
Wishing you the best of luck!
