Google honours Mrinalini Sarabhai.
Mrinalini Sarabhai was a famous Indian classical dancer, choreographer, and instructor. Today is her 100th birth anniversary Google has honoured her with a special doodle in which Mrinalini is shown in different dance poses. She founded the Darpana Academy of Performing Arts which gave training in dance, music, drama to students. She was married to famous physicist Vikram Sarabhai. She was awarded Padma Shri in 1965 and Padma Bhushan in 1992 by Indian Government. She made the Indian classical dance famous and was invited for dance programs from all over the world. She passes away on 29th January 2016 she will be always remembered for her contributions in dance art.
