BNP is losing the confidence of the judiciary: Khandaker Mahbub

BNP Vice Chairman Khandker Mahbub Hossain said their party is slowly losing confidence in the judiciary after seeing the court orders in different cases against BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.

Khandaker Mahbub said this at a discussion organized by the Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) Civil Rights Movement in the capital on Friday.

BNP senior leader Khandker Mahbub Hossain said, "The way the Supreme Court and the lower court are ruling in different cases of Khaleda Zia, it is in conflict with independent judiciary." That's why our confidence in the judiciary is going down. "

The leader of the BNP thinks that judges can not work independently anymore. So, there is no chance of getting rid of Khaleda Zia soon by legal battle. Khandaker Mahbub said, "I believe that national leaders of Bangladesh will respond to the formation of national unity on the BNP call. If national unity is created, then this government can not be in power.

He also urged strong movement to ensure the release of BNP Chairperson. Khandaker Mahbub remarked that national unity should be done to protect the rights of the people and restore democracy.

Khandker Mahbub Hossain alleged that the government is being tortured and tortured by Khaleda Zia after being held in the abandoned prison. The government is slowly trying to push her towards death.
