Oil is hurt by an increase in US crude inventories
Oil prices fell Wednesday below $ 74 a barrel on reports of rising US crude stockpiles and an increase in OPEC output, fueling signs of an abundance of supplies.
By 11:53 GMT, global benchmark crude Brent fell $ 1.17 to $ 73.04 a barrel after falling earlier in the session to $ 72.97 a barrel.
