NBC Picks Up Brooklyn 99 Television Show for Season 6, Still No News on Firefly Coming Back
Earlier this week, May 10th to be exact, Fox announced that they were canceling Brooklyn 99. There were other shows effected as well, including Lucifer and Last Man on Earth – no news on either of those shows though. NBC just announced they are picking up Brooklyn 99 for season 6 on May 11th.
To say NBC wasted no time in picking up Brooklyn 99 is an understatement. Fans rallied on social media to help bring awareness to anyone that could potentially pick up the hit series. NBC listened.

Even if only for one season, it gives the fans another 13 episodes to enjoy. If we want more, we need to support NBC in their decision to pickup the Brooklyn New York focused police sitcom.
Still nothing on the whole Firefly front.
