Renewable Energy Now Accounts for One Third of Global Energy Capacity

in #news5 years ago

One-third of global energy capacity now comes from renewable resources, according to new data released by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) earlier this week.

The past decade has seen strong growth in renewable energy, a trend that continued in 2018. Most of this growth is driven by solar and wind energy.
