Remember to update your miners and software for the latest monero update/fork.
two separate hard forks will occur on October 18th and 19th. (monero v13.0.0)
- Tweaked PoW algorithm to preserve ASIC resistance
- added new transaction proof called bulletproofs, reduces transaction size by 80% (2-3kb instead of 12-14kb transaction size)
- Higher minimum ring signature size 7->11
