A pill to make you numb, a pill to make you dumb, a pill to cure all your loneliness?
Yes, it’s true. Scientists are now working on a pill for loneliness.
“If there are medications for social pains like depression and anxiety, why not loneliness?”
Well let’s see, because these are symptoms of a deeper problem and until you deal with that deeper problem, you will only mask the issues at the price of your physical/mental health. Possibly worse if you are one of those unfortunate to suffer the more serious side effects.
But I suppose in any way they can profit, the pharmaceutical industry will be more than happy to offer the solution. That will be promoted above all more natural and logical solutions.
Yes, but do you take a pill to quench your thirst? No, because you need water, not a pill for thirst. Sometimes you have to remove obstacles in your way in order to quench your thirst. There are many drinks you can have in order to do that. However, it is the element water that your body actually needs.
The same goes for social interaction, there are social substitutes such as the internet, telephone, sending letters, but none of these will quench your thirst like a physical (in-person) social connection will.
Oh these people.. lol Do you think? You think it might be because people are not marrying and having families? You think that might be to blame? How do you think that came to be?
This wasn’t due to some natural phenomena. This is the result of social programming through all your media. Discouraging people from seeking a long term mate and having a family,
You’re never alone with a family. You’ll always have each other, and being a family will open up channels to make connections with other people and their families. It’s been a long time goal to break up the family nucleus. Because, a fractured society is an easily ruled one.
Oh course it has a physiological effect. We’ve seen animals die of social deprivation. Or was the main contributing factor leading up to their death.
Because it’s not a clinical issue. This is a societal issue. A symptom from decades of media programming, exasperated by the advancements of technology and social media.
You know, a much more effective study would be to remove all the devices from these “otherwise healthy” individuals. And have them do all their regular online interactions, person to person instead. Just an idea.
People already medicate themselves in social situations with alcohol, pot and other drugs. It doesn’t work in the long term as evidenced by our current situation.
You know this could all change with the promotion of family and the discouragement of all these anti-social behaviors. Even if it takes financial incentives to get people off their devices and out in the real world with person to person transactions, it would be worth it.
But we all know they don’t really want this to change. In fact they want an even more fragmented and broken society. So that when they bring it all together again, it will be united under a one love and with tolerance for all things degenerate. “Love thyself” and “do as thou wilt” “Anything goes” folks.

No, I’m not religious in the least. I just see where they are taking society. Those at the helm, those who have mapped out the progressions of humanity are most definitely Luciferian. I don’t know about you but I find this title disturbing. “For Every Kind of Loneliness” what do you mean every kind of loneliness? How many types of loneliness are there? What about a romantic loneliness? This is child sized robot designed for kids and seniors, I don’t think it’s meant to fulfill every kind of loneliness. Stupid title! Anyways.
5 microphones? Doesn’t Alexa have like 7? So this little fucker is only 2 microphones short of an Alexa. So it may not quite pick up all your conversations as well as an Alexa would. But what it lacks in audio, it makes up for in its mobility. This little robotic spy can follow you around the house. Brilliant one, boys!
Children who aren’t getting enough attention don’t need a robot. They need a friggin parent! One parent at the very least and two parents optimally.

See now this part is where this makes some sense to me. Over the past few generations, there have been wedges placed between the old and the young. Many seniors in old folks homes rarely or even never receive visits and are left in the sole care of the state. This rings true even in myself. I never had the benefits of a bond with any elder members of my family. And the thought of this is so cringeworthy to me. Maybe if it was pushed harder to bridge that multigenerational gap, I’d myself would have a stronger sense of family. But instead it’s something I have to work on and build up in my children.
Are you reading this? The internet of things is a horrible, horrible idea. “Will virtually eliminate the need to stand up or walk around or hunt for the remote” I think the daily beast got it right when they referenced WALL-E in the title of the article. Just look at the humans in that Pixar film.
