“Pink Slime” Gets Reclassified as “Ground Beef”
Hey y’all remember pink slime? That nasty pink stuff they use as filler in ground beef. Well it just got reclassified as ground beef. So you’ll never know if it’s in the meat you’re eating or not. Mmm mmm.
Sure makes me glad I’ve done away with animal products years ago. Although if I hadn’t stopped eating meat I’d be sourcing my meat from a local farmer or hunting it myself but that’s neither here nor there.
I wanted to report on this because I think people should be aware of what they are putting into their food. Pink slime was a big deal back in 2012 when it was reported by ABC news. People were in an uproar then. Now they’ve renamed it from “lean finely textured beef” aka pink slime to plain ol’ ground beef. Where’s the uproar? Nobody is paying any attention and perhaps they deserve to eat this crap. However, for those of you that may care this is for you.

It’s important to understand that settling a lawsuit doesn’t automatically equte to guilty. It can be for many reasons. The parent company is Disney right? Well shit, Disney can afford to toss 177 million at these beef company no problem. Notice how abc hasn’t and won’t remove said news report. In they continue to stand by it. Anyways, something to consider, this settlement is not indicative of how accurate the report was back in 2012.

Right! Consumers now have the option of ground beef with added ground beef. Of course! This is a good thing, pink slime is awesome! lol what a joke!
