Nawaz's 10 years, Mary gets 7 years imprisonment

Simultaneously, her daughter Maryam Nawaz was given a seven-year sentence and one year in prison for her husband Captain Safdar.

Dawn News reported that the Accountantity Court of Pakistan announced the verdict on Friday. Along with the imprisonment, Nawaz was fined 80 lakh British pounds and Mariam 2 million British pounds.

Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam are staying in London. Nawaz's wife Kulosum Nawaz, who is suffering from cancer, is undergoing treatment in London. Due to this, Nawaz and Mariam applied to the court to delay this verdict for at least seven days. But the court declared the verdict on Friday.

The BBC has reported that allegations of corruption against Nawaz Sharif have been brought to book four luxurious flat in London. The verdict of this case was to be announced this morning. But the court announced the verdict after a few points back in the afternoon. Nawaz Sharif has always claimed that the allegation of corruption is politically motivated.
