HP Printer buys Samsung's printer business

in #news6 years ago

HP said that this acquisition will further boost their portfolio, and multi-function printers that are easy to use but with high capabilities like copier, will help to change the image of the $ 5 billion copper market in the country, CNBC said.

The president and chief executive of the company Dion Weisler said, "When we are making a revolution in printing, we are excited to bring together the best and brightest merchants of the industry. Together we will build leadership for more than 30 years with the speed of our strategy. Stop new market prospects and give unique and high quality innovative print solutions to our customers and partners. "

This acquisition was announced in September last year.

Under the agreement, more than 6500 printing patents and 1300 researchers and engineers will get portfolio of Mercantile Property.

As part of the deal, Samsung will invest 10 to 30 million US dollars in HP through the purchase of open market shares.

On the other hand, the company has also focused on the 3-D printing, and the printer and printer maker US company.
