A mass attempt by Palestinians to cross the border fence separating Israel from Gaza quickly turned violent, as Israeli soldiers responded with rifle fire. Monday quickly became the bloodiest single day since the campaign of demonstrations began seven weeks ago, to protest Israel’s economic blockade of Gaza.

Tens of thousands of Palestinians took part in the Gaza protests, which spread on Monday to the West Bank, where the focus was on opposition to the embassy move.

By 4:30 p.m., 41 Palestinians, including several teenagers, were dead and at least 1,700 were injured in Gaza, the Health Ministry said. Israeli soldiers and snipers used barrages of tear gas as well as live gunfire to keep protesters from entering Israeli territory.

The question is, of course, what did the U.S/Trump get out of this embassy move other than needless violence and, as a result, more anti-Americanism?

Meanwhile, tomorrow, Palestinians remember the day of catastrophe, or the Nakba. as it is called, in Arabic.

750,000 Palestinians were forced from their homes to make way for the creation of Israel in 1948.

A majority of Gaza's 2 million people are descendants of those refugees.

For me the only word i have for this is So sorry for the lost May the almighty God grant the hurting family the fortitude to bear the lost.

I am really speechless!

It beggars belief this insane provocation continues, and with America’s blessings...

The Palestinians are, basically, being murdered in cold blood for refusing to quietly accept systemic humiliation and outrageous injustice.

Heaven help us to find an end to this endlessness...

That is just terrible. I am not naive enough to think that fixing the world is an easy thing, but if you consider all the technology we have at our disposal, how much knowledge we have gathered over countless millennia, and how much we have in terms of resources, all of the problems we currently face could be fixed. 41 lives were lost and still we do not learn from it. Very sad indeed.

Sad beyond words...

This is really unfair. Let your heart feel the pain and distress of others
