Venezuela in the dark
With more than 72 hours without light!
Anxiety grows in our country, being practically paralyzed, many closed supermarkets because they do not have electricity generating plants and outlets, nobody can withdraw money from ATMs or use any type of cards (in a country where electronic transactions are vital even for small operations because there is no cash), little transportation, no work or school activities. Among the population, the concern increases because the food starts to get damaged and water becomes scarce.
Everything started after a "supposed sabotage" of the Guri hydroelectric plant in Bolívar state, and since then there are areas where the signals of the telephone operators come and go intermittently. Others where there is simply no way to communicate since the blackout started. Venezuelans abroad try to locate their relatives and know how they are, but it is impossible.
They keep us without light repetitively for more than 5 hours, restore it two or three hours and remove it again, increasing the level of crime and human losses, not counting on the operation of basic devices in hospitals that do not They have plants.
A country where there is a shortage of energy, water and oil, bands with firearms. Where the politicians of high positions fight over resources and where there seems to be no State. A disorderly country, without rules and with a lack of conscience. Something dystopian! A country where communicating with another point is an impossible mission. Where society disintegrates in pursuit of individuality, in the struggle for survival. It is the plot described in Wikipedia about the film 'Mad Max' (1979). But that is almost the plot that Venezuelans live today, immersed in a movie without a script that started, at least in its current episode and when we think that things can not get worse, they continue to pass a series of inexplicable acts in full 21st century, where to have basic services such as: water, electricity, food, hospitals in good condition, telecommunications service, to name a few, are impossible to obtain.
