Newslink: Whiskey Review: George Dickel Bottled in Bond Tennessee Whisky
Many bottled in bond whiskies don’t advertise their age. If they do, it can have a tendency to be accompanied with an accelerated price tag like Old Fitzgerald. Because of the legal requirements we always know they are a minimum of four years old. So I was a little surprised to see the age and price combination on this new release from George DIckel. It’s a 13 year old, bottled in bond, for only $36. I was curious and wanted to find out why. Then I noticed all the changes that happened recently at the distillery and the reasoning is became clear.
