Connecting dots or Propaganda (You decide) #02

in #newslink5 years ago

Welcome back..

To another collection of connecting dots or blatant propaganda, on this one I'll talk a bit less, You know the premisses, the concept behind, and You are the only one who can decide what perception to have..

..or maybe, there is someone or something in control of each one of us, our actions, thoughts, ideas, feelings, pretty much as if we're all character in a huge video game, some might notice it but the majority don't, again I'll also leave that for Yourself to think about..

Now lets move on to the "news" read last couple of days, more or less..
I might also make small commentaries about some of them..

(You know the drill, click titles or images to read full news at their source)

Second World War Could Have Ended in 1943 Had Allied Bombing Focused on Military-related Targets

Britain’s air commander Arthur Harris was convinced that efforts to “scourge the Third Reich” by “bombing Germany city by city”, as he put it in July 1942, would bring the war to a swift end. The outcome behind these increasingly destructive air raids proved very different to how it was foreseen.

..maybe the target wasn't the military nor the objective to end the war..

Is The Arctic Melting? Theory Vs. Oservations

Based on observations, datingback to 1900, it can be concluded that it is physically impossible for the Arctic to be ice/snow free in the foreseeable future since the air temperatures were as cold in 2013 as they were in 1900.

..Climate Change? You mean the natural changes in temperature or the localized temporary weather, controlled by man with HAARP, Chemtrails, BioAPI..

EFSA gene drive working group fails independence test

Obvious and serious conflicts of interest are still not in the past for the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA): a look at the agency’s working group on the risks associated to gene drive organisms makes this quite clear. For instance, two of the appointed experts are receiving funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, which in turn funds research and lobby work in favour of the technology. Even according to EFSA’s own, rather weak, independence policy, one of these appointments should not have been made due to obvious conflicts of interest.

Gene Drive Files reveal covert lobbying tactics to influence UN expert group

“Gene drives are a powerful and dangerous new technology and potential biological weapons that could have disastrous impacts on peace, food security and the environment, especially if misused,” said Jim Thomas of ETC Group. “The fact that gene drive development is now being primarily funded and structured by the US military raises alarming questions about this entire field.”

Toxic lobbying: the titanium dioxide label debate continues

As part of industry’s efforts to divert attention away from the hazard reasons for regulating titanium dioxide, business also complains that the ‘downstream’ costs of classification would be too high. This brings us to the issue of waste, with industry arguing that classifying titanium dioxide as a “suspected carcinogen” would lead to a lot of waste being newly classified as hazardous, thus making it ineligible for recycling and reuse within the circular economy, and in turn more costly to treat and dispose of. These arguments about the ‘downstream’ use of titanium dioxide have been taken up by various industries, including the aluminium sector, whose bauxite residue or ‘red mud’ can contain high levels of titanium dioxide, and the paint industry.

Bitcoin eats as much energy as Switzerland

Always-on but inactive home devices in the USA consume enough electricity per year to power the Bitcoin network for 4 years. That’s right: somebody needs to figure out how to harness the power of the always-on recirculation pumps in the nation’s goldfish bowls, our TVs, our computers, our printers, and our game consoles and get those suckers crypto-mining for us.

But wait, is that the main takeaway? Or is it that all this energy use is going to contribute to climate change? In other words…

..here we go again with the climate change and CO2 levels, trees feed on CO2, just stop cutting them down..
