I've updated my auto vote as well as my curation habits. Before 50/50 I noticed that I earn around 6 steem per week from curation however after the HF21 I now earn around 8 to 9 steem. I know many will be like. "But your posts now earn less than before?" Of course they now earn less, however one can't say they don't miss the bigger payouts, but then I realised in my Chat with @mindtrap that curative activities has increased all around Steem and people like @anomadsoul, @jongolsen have seen increased in payout rewards (I follow these accounts) so in the long run smaller accounts will notice or experience these too should they and only if they can come out with amazing contents, so the fact is the 50/50 will increase the payout in due time because more accounts will come up to undertake curative responsiveness so why have nothing under 75/25 when you can have more in due time with 50/50.? I know I know, this will take time to fully become the case but take a look at this other angle.

In a post made by @3speak they're actually proposing to burn steem in Post payouts, and this would contribute in decreasing inflation, @exyle spoke in one of his posts that he's proposing to stop using Appics though he didn't state reasons why but proportionally I'm guessing he's trying to lay a prospectively good example for people on how quality Contenting seems like and to make every cent of Steem worth the particular content in question, question is, have you changed your Contenting style and curative behavior? If not, this is the only way you're going to experience the full effect of the changes, thing is. Should we continue complaining about how the 50/50 is terrible for newcomers? When this complaints can't even make us leave the blockchain? Since we can't leave the blockchain then the best will be to learn how to thrive on the blockchain utilizing every system that comes into play.

needless to say #newsteem is experiencing better changes and if you've noticed, some big guys are coming out of the shadows not because they want to blog but increase blogging and vlogging activities on the blockchain, they might even be getting bigger share of the payouts, Yes but when you make comparisons it'll become brighter and better on the blockchain, take for instance how about the effect on the price of steem? I know it's basically still speculative and the forces that controls prices might still be uncertain. But in a bid to make the value deciders reward the value givers I'm guessing 50/50 is poised to give them that advantage and mathematically there will be a cause for increase in value for good contents however I'm still stating that it might be in the long run. (Long run might be 3 months or one year)

There's something I notice about the new mentality, those without autovotes are striving hard to make contents that Will make them noticeable and those on autovotes from heavy beneficiaries are making it better in other to stay on top of the food chain. Except for a few who are still shitting posting and getting autovotes However with the downvote activities from @theycallmedan @trafalgar and the likes. Infact people are now making sure their contents are worth it before they can even buy vote, or forced to cancel payouts if they simply want to make the content trend ? this bid decrease inflation and increase quality I'm guessing time will tell if these people still keep these undeserved rewards Don't mistake this factor people will compete for Steem using curation and contenting and when you fall down the pecking order then steem becomes harder for you to earn. I'm a less technical person and I'm trying to quantify the quality and utility that might come in place due to 50/50 not without speculating that these things will pan out better in the long run.
