DON’T REINVENT THE WHEEL

The wheel was invented many years ago in ancient times. The wheel now has almost unlimited uses an applications. The wheel also comes in almost unlimited sizes, styles and colors. One thing about the wheel that has not changed over thousands of years is it functions. A wheel function is to spin, rotate or roll and that what wheels have been doing for thousands of years.  

Unlike the wheel, social media and blogging have not been around thousands of years. I believe they got their start in the late 1990s however there are certainly very successful social media sites (some not so desirable). The most successful social media sites appear to entertain and reward in many different ways. Of course there is business conducted on these successful social media sites but it’s secondary for many because people just want to have fun.  We may have to wait a few hundred years to get as many uses for social media as we have for the wheel but for now most people just want to have fun (Entertainment and Rewards). 

The wheel is hundreds of years old but there are still many new uses for the wheel that has not been discovered. So let’s continue to look for new sizes, styles and colors for the wheel (newsteem) but let the wheel spin while we look.
