• You didn’t cook on top of a lantern in boarding house
• You didn't fly kite made from paper and broom sticks and Eba for gum
• You didn’t sleep on the couch and wake up on the bed
• You were never told that if you swallowed orange seeds, an orange tree would grow in your stomach.
• You never did mama and papa plays i.e. cooking grass and sand without fire.
• You licked the creamy part of a cream-coated biscuit
• You didn't lick ‘lolly’
• You didn't witness the reign of ‘Okin biscuits'
• You didn’t play rubber band
• You didn’t do “rub and shine” – i.e you just washed your face, hands and legs instead of bathing when going to school
• You didn’t buy sweets or biscuits from the mallam down the street
• You didn’t use your two legs to build houses with sand
• You didn’t kill earth-worm with salt
• You didn’t mix garri and sugar in your pocket and eat while walking in the street (I didn’t do this one, but my guys did it).
• You didn’t play “Jangilova epo motor”, ten-ten or suwe etc
• You made a paper boat and put it in bowl of water to float
• You didn't bath naked under the rain
• You didn’t use a stone to Break open the seeds from the 'fruit' (kiwi fruits) tree & eating the seeds
• You didn't hunt birds with catapult
• You didn’t act film in uncompleted building or under bed with friends.
• You never heard of a ghost that stays under mango trees at nights
• You didn't use Ali and Simbi books in primary school
• You didn’t write your name on a strip of paper and insert it into your pen so that no one will steal it
• You didn't drink water directly from the tap
• You never waved at white birds expecting your nails to be whiter – singing leke leke give me white finger.
• You were never shocked by a boiling ring at least once in boarding house
• You didn't drink iced colored water tied in nylon as ice cream
• You are not Being sent on errands to grind pepper or beans with your mum shouting at you to remember to tell the elero to wash the grinder very well before putting your pepper or beans through the grinder.
• You didn’t play table soccer with bottle or biro cover and used your school uniform button as ball

and if you did't do more than ten, then your childhood is not as fun as ours that did it.
