My yanky mtg modern homebrew part 3

in #norway6 years ago

So today I'm planning on kicking back enjoying some friday night magic at my local outland. It will be a testrun for a slightly modified version of this deck:

Really excited, played it a bit, but it's the first time in an actual tournament.
When I played it, I was not comfortable with how close to the original it was, though I have altered it a bit, do not have a decklist at the moment, just dusted off the deckbox 5 minutes ago (don't have much time for magic anymore). I do however have a decklist I'm planning on putting together when the budget allows it, it's more of a crossover with superfriends. If your'e interested you will find the deck here.
It's not been built or tested yet, but I will keep you posted, hopefully there will be some videos in the near future too, but I'm working a lot to prepare for exams.
Don't know if i will comment my score below or make a new post as of yet, but you will get it later on.

Have to say that you are really lucky to have Outland nearby. Would love for a place like that to learn magic and other games. I've always loved good old Avalon and Outland, but living in a smaller town - I've never really had anyone to play with or to learn from. But I have bought some Star Wars role playing game starter sets, and played one for my eldest kids. They enjoyed it, so I need to do more of that :)

You never know, if I manage to get the arcade open, it will be that kind of gaming there too ;) Not familiar with avalon, will check it out, found an internet version. I actually don't go to outland too much anymore, mostly play mtgo. If your'e interested in playing magic I would be happy to play with you, also if your'e new to the game here's som starter links:

Avalon was a small chain of stores before Outland came :) They had stores in Oslo and Bergen, maybe other places as well. Thanks for the tip, maybe I'll get around to checking it one of these days :)

Aah that's right, I forgot. It's apparantly also a boardgame, found an online version I'm trying out, the stores were probably named after that game. Give me a heads up if you try out mtgo :)
