Steem's economy incentivices spam and makes the worst out of good actors

Look out for @mack-botjr that says it's autoflagging my spammy bullshit. Its SP is being delegated by “spammers” too lol.

as long as we all virtue-signal in public and sweep the base-level irrationalities of the economy's design under the rug, STEEM will moon, right? right?!? #ContentAgnostic #PretendItAintTho #PointinThaFinger

Yeah.. its sad we're depending on the irrationality of crypto traders. I strongly think it's a mistake to try to cater to the 99% when it comes to Steem's core economic design. Everyone likes short-term easy money. It sucks that I can only think of this problem for the past year.

Fork it. If you understand how to fix the issue, why not to fork?

still need specialised devs and deep pockets. i've none of that

This is called entrepreneurship: how without resources and money build something.

Plus if it gets built and works, Steem devs can just copy and paste the code. The core is more mature, hence more favourable than any forks. Just not a big fan of forked economies

This is what we want!?

Anyways, there will be a new network with the right economics (rewarding talent, with a smart form of taxation and paying goddamn something back to investors) and probably this will lead to a new crypto boom. That's how I see the future.

To compete with the existent model we need to offer at least something as good.

Oh boy, how this ecosystem is suffering...
