McAfee is running for President in 2020

John McAfee has never been one to shy away from the camera or call someone out when they are wrong. McAfee is known for creating a cybersecurity software McAfee that became very popular before ditching the company completely to become an early Bitcoin adopter. McAfee has been calling for a $1M Bitcoin for quite some time now, but what some people don't know about him is that he ran for President as part of the Libertarian party in 2016. Below is his campaign promotion video, and it's hard to take everything he says seriously.

McAfee has also announced that he plans on running for President in 2020 as part of the Libertarian party or as part of his own party to serve the crypto-community. He claims that his act of running for President will be worth the effort even though he believes he has no chance of winning.

McAfee has also recently decided to launch the "McAfee Coin" which will have "Fiat currencies (collectible) backed by crypto - the reverse of what banks are attempting. Seriously." And it's hard to tell if he's being serious about this but it seems like he is.

I wonder if McAfee will really make a huge campaign effort to at least get his message out to the masses he can definitely afford the campaign expenses, so it will be interesting to see what he does. I also think that if he runs in 2020 even if he doesn't become the chosen candidate for the Libertarian party, this could have a massive effect on the cryptocurrency market as a whole. It will also be interesting to see how much effect this could have on the price of Bitcoin.
