I'm gonna quit camming soon. Fingers crossed anyway. You can only do something you kinda hate for so long. And then you can do it a bit longer. And then you might start enjoying it again.
I feel a bit like that now. In between the perverts and the illiterates, odd people pop up who I really get on with. Like, they'll pay me... to talk to them. They kinda like me. And I'm not a bitch; I do remind them every so often that they're just paying per minute to chat to me with my clothes on. Does that sound bad? I love meeting people that just wanna chat. It's mostly slightly damaged people. Health issues and dead family members. Bad relationships. Drugs at stupid o'clock. I like it when people just talk and I listen. I like it when I can talk and people just listen. I should stop staying up til stupid o'clock.
More often than is a smart move, I'll say fuck this - add me on Skype and talk to me for free. I ain't no oracle, but I can tell when people need to vent and I think I give pretttyyy prettyy good advice. Also I've got a fab taste in music, which makes for great life-forgettin-karaoke-webcam-seshes.

Talking to people is great. i mostly listen too, but I've also realised that there are some people that need therapy for sure. not because the advice they get or the words they hear are any different, but mainly because people take things more seriously when they have to pay for it.
how long (if you don't mind my asking) have you been camming? have you always hated it or did the hate for it manifest only recently? what are you going to do once you quit camming?
