The Green Last Hope

Do we love green?

I believe that we all have in our souls a sense of belonging to nature.

Unfortunately, it's not what we think.
From the deforestation of the Amazon, to the destruction of Siberia, or to the pollution of the Oceans, we can see that we are self-harming beings.

The power of multinational lobbies and few powerful men on Earth has prevailed over the quality of our ecosystems.

I'm very afraid that we won't be able to survive or at least live in dignity.
Mathematical models indicate a sudden change in the planet's climate.

There are people who refute these patterns, perhaps have personal interests or are paid by other agencies to say otherwise.

In the harsh reality, however, we are not helping our Earth to survive.
Ecological disasters are dramatically increasing, the melting of the ghiaccai is proof of this, as well as the increase in temperatures in the world.

Today I paint with green, a color that I do not use much, perhaps because I exorcize my fear with other colors.

I am deeply concerned and like most of the inhabitants of the planet I feel useless compared to these disasters.

I can only paint dreams and hopes.

Il verde ultima speranza

Amiamo il verde?

Credo che tutti noi abbiamo nella nostra anima un senso di appartenenza alla natura.

Purtroppo non è come crediamo.
Dalle deforestazioni dell'Amazzonia, alla distruzione della Siberia, o all'inquinamento degli Oceani si evince che siamo esseri autolesionisti.

Il potere delle lobbies multinazionali e di pochi uomini potenti della Terra ha avuto la meglio sulla qualità dei nostri ecosistemi.

Ho molta paura che non riusciremo a sopravvivere o almeno a vivere in modo dignitoso.
I modelli matematici indicano un repentino cambiamento del clima del pianeta.

Ci sono persone che confutano questi modelli, forse hanno interessi personali o sono pagate da altre agenzie per dire il contrario.

Nella dura realtà noi comunque non stiamo aiutando la nostra Terra a sopravvivere.
Aumentano in modo drammatico i disastri ecologici, lo scioglimento dei ghiaccai ne è la prova, così come l'aumento delle temperature nel globo.

Oggi dipingo con il verde, un colore che non uso molto, forse perchè esorcizzo la mia paura con altri colori.

Sono profondamente preoccupato e come la maggior parte degli abitanti del pianeta mi sento inutile rispetto a queste catastrofi.

Posso soltanto dipingere i sogni e le speranze.
