watercolor on paper - private collection - Rome - Italy

Today I share a watercolor that I have painted for a client a passionate professor of art history, as well as mother of 3 beautiful children.
Before starting the work I spoke with the client, trying to understand what he wanted in reality and above all what were his desires on the subject to paint.
The dominant theme for her was art in general, but in this case, ancient architecture, in a wide historical landscape.
You are passionate about the history of my city: Terracina and so we have agreed together to give maximum importance to the part of Roman and medieval history of the historic center of Terracina.
I thought, in addition to painting a historical context of which I will show you the details, to pictorially represent herself, from behind, who leads her children by the hand, towards a walk with love and passion in an ancient glimpse.
Take by the hand, transmit passion and enthusiasm for the art.
A hug of passion.
Armando

P.S
the painting also really liked her children.

welcome friend

When I was younger I wanted to live in Italy. Today, I also want to live in Italy but I know that the situation there is not ideal. So I made it my favorite place to go on vacation. I go to Italy a few times each year and I consider it the most beautiful country that I've ever visited.

I love your painting because you show the history and the amazing, unique architecture that Italian cities have. I even studied Italian for a while cause I loved it so much :)

It's another beautiful painting and I like the reference of a mother with 3 children :) Your clients must have been very happy about it :)

Have a lovely day Armando!

hello dear thanks for your comment, if you want to come to my part in Terracina in Lazio I am available for any info

That's a fantastic painting. She and her children are nicely represented and they're looking so cute! 😃
