While running you look down from the top of your roof and find nothing but emptiness. Cars and passers-by unaware that someone up there is watching them.

That someone is not God but man. The lost man, the man who has approached the sky only to have the perspective of how tremendous the impact with the ground can be.

Mentre corri guardi in basso dall'alto del tuo tetto e trovi solo il vuoto. Macchine e passanti ignari che qualcuno lassù li stia guardando.

Quel qualcuno non è Dio ma l'uomo. L'uomo spaesato, l'uomo che ha avvicinato il cielo solo per avere la prospettiva di quanto possa essere tremendo l'impatto con il suolo.

Sotto molti profili siamo noi autistici quelli normali, e credo che il resto del mondo sia piuttosto bizzarro. Specialmente quando di tratta della crisi di sostenibilità, con tutti voi che parlate del cambiamento climatico come di una minaccia esistenziale, il problema più importante di tutti, e malgrado ciò andate avanti come se niente fosse. Non riesco a capacitarmene. Perché se le emissioni devono essere fermate, allora le dobbiamo fermare. Per me, questo è bianco o nero. Non ci sono zone grigie con la sopravvivenza in gioco.

I never strike.

In my career in 27 years of teaching, I remember having only gone on strike once.
I love my job, I like to give lectures on art and painting, on artistic education techniques, I find it gratifying to be in contact with young people, who give me the energy to renew myself, always.

The strike has the value and the power to change something, but only if brought about by collective participation.

Greta Thunberg, a 15-year-old Swedish girl involved me, and showed that we can all do something for the Planet.
Young people teach us that we can do something.

We have to do soon!

I shared this planetary event on social media, taking on my responsibilities.
Probably my Dean won't agree very much, maybe he'll give me a letter of appeal, maybe he'll just want clarifications, or he'll scold me in private.

What I want is to share the commitment of this little girl, and be close to her, everyone!
I am an adult and I am ashamed for not being able to do anything for the Climate, I can only continue to paint scenes of Nature by sharing them and explaining them, the images of my works are available in CCL.
My site has already been for a year.
But she, Greta, did something immense and extraordinary, from a Friday in September, she started not going to school, placing herself under the Swedish Parliament with a sign: "climate strike!"
This girl, suffering from Asperberger's disease, drastically identifies the possible choices to make, either black or white.
If we are faced with having to make immediate decisions for a drama that grips us, there is no gray.
Gray is no longer enough to lower the CO2 level, just lie to the new generations!

There is no more time.

So, let's join together in a global embrace, against these damned politicians who are not doing anything useful for the Climate, indeed they continue to make fun of us, with unfair promises and never realized.
With gray, neutral color and not very reassuring.

Non sciopero mai.

Nella mia carriera in 27 anni di insegnamento, ricordo di aver scioperato soltanto una volta.
Amo il mio lavoro, mi piace tenere lezioni sull'arte e sulla pittura, sulle tecniche dell'educazione artistica, trovo gratificante stare a contatto con i giovani, i quali mi danno le energie per rinnovarmi, sempre.

Lo sciopero ha il valore e il potere di cambiare qualcosa, ma solo se portato avanti da una partecipazione collettiva.

Greta Thunberg, una ragazzina svedese di 15 anni mi ha coinvolto, e mi ha fatto capire che tutti noi possiamo fare qualcosa per il Pianeta.
I giovani ci insegnano che possiamo fare qualcosa.

Dobbiamo fare presto!

Ho condiviso sui social questo evento planetario, assumendomi le mie responsabilità.
Probabilmente il mio Preside non sarà molto d'accordo, forse mi farà una lettera di richiamo, forse vorrà solo di chiarimenti, oppure mi rimprovererà in privato.

Quello che mi preme è condividere l'impegno di questa ragazzina, e di esserle vicino, tutti!

Io continuerò a dipingere scene di Natura condividendole e spiegandole, le immagini dei miei lavori sono a disposizione in CCL
Il mio sito lo è già da un anno.

Ma non basta, uniamoci in un abbraccio mondiale, contro questi dannati politici che non stanno facendo niente di utile per il Clima, anzi continuano a prenderci in giro, con promesse inique e mai realizzate.

Venerdì farò sciopero!
