Listening to the water

Hello to all dear friends.

Today I share a watercolor painting centered on nature.

Despite being a landscape it is a minimal painting with few compositional elements.

The sky, a headland in the distance and a lake with two banks on the sides.

My vantage point is slightly high, just above the aquatic vegetation.

My choice to extend the breadth of the lake.

I tried simplicity even in very muted colors and tinkered with cerulean blue.

The aspect that wanted to emphasize is the union, indeed the fusion between the sky and the water.

A pure symbiosis, emphasized by moving away from the perspective of the side banks.

A very simple watercolor subject in its composition but intense in content.

It is an invitation to reflect on the beauties we have in the world, on the sensations and emotions that nature can transmit.

In silence.

A ray of light filtering through the clouds leads our vision down into the waters of the world.

Ascoltando l'acqua

Ciao a tutti cari amici.

Oggi condivido un dipinto ad acquarello centrato sulla natura.

Nonostante sia un paesaggio è un dipinto minimale con pochi elementi compositivi.

Il cielo, un promontorio in lontananza ed un lago con due rive ai lati.

Il mio punto di osservazione è leggermente in alto, appena sopra la vegetazione acquatica.

Una mia scelta per estendere l'ampiezza dello scorcio del lago.

Ho cercato la semplicità anche nei colori molto tenui e virati al blu ceruleo.

L'aspetto che voluto sottolineare è l'unione, anzi la fusione tra il cielo e l'acqua.

Una simbiosi pura, enfatizzata dall'allontanarsi in prospettiva delle rive laterali.

Un soggetto ad acquarello molto semplice nella sua composizione ma intenso nei contenuti.

E' un invito a riflettere sulle bellezze che abbiamo al mondo, sulle sensazioni ed emozioni che può trasmettere la natura.

Nel silenzio.

Un raggio di luce che filtra tra le nuvole conduce la nostra visione verso il basso, nelle acque del mondo.

Quanto durerà?
