Hello fellow Photographers!
It is time to announce next PHOTOGRAPHY contest sponsored by @nTopaz. The theme is BLACK AND WHITE
Why BLACK AND WHITE?
Another pretty common theme easily accessible to major range of photographers.
Considering any genre can be entered starting from landscapes and cityscapes, following by street photography, wildlife and people/portraits, as well as some more narrow genres as, for example, macro photography, still life, HDR etc
Black and white photos are always very attractive due to the fact that normally we do see the world in colors. Black and white photos bring as the world in monotones and affecting the visual receptors of our brain in a very special way. Proper black and white conversion from the color photo often brings out some nuances and details not recognizable at first sight. Especially it is good for emphasizing and showing out human emotions
This contest is a great opportunity for all the photographers to showcase, to share and learn from each other. Different cameras, different lenses, different shooting points and endless variety of composition. All those are worth to be shown and to be learned from.
Art photography and digital manipulations are very welcome as well
Submission period
03:00 on 30 May 2019 to 03:00 13 June 2019 (all times UTC)
Rules
• Any genre of photography (digital or film)
• Black and White photography only. Sepia tones allowed
• Up to 3 photos per person
• Must be uploaded on the contest page on www.nTopaz.com.
• Copyright: responsible for any claims and arising issue from copyright violations
• NO REPOSTS!
• NSFW entries will not be accepted
• Please be respectful and follow the rules of the contest and THE POSTING GUIDELINES and you are risking being blacklisted by the always active Coordination Team.
Contest Rewards
1st Prize (1 person): 3,000 TOPAZ tokens
2nd Prize (2 persons): 2,000 TOPAZ tokens each
3rd Prize (3 persons): 1,000 TOPAZ tokens each
The photos submitted will be curated and selected by nTopaz curator.
Contest Voting Standards
Voting Criteria: 30% of the total nTopaz voting power expendable for the day will support for contest entries with upvotes, this is limited to the top 10 according to Daily respect scores.
(However, abuse, plagiarism, and low quality photography will be excluded.)

Hi @axeman - I just uploaded my first try to ntopaz. Great interface on your dApp! I saw you allow three entries. Is that three on one post, or three posts for each contest?
I am on it either way! I'm not that talented, but I am all about the dApps and looking for good places to post. ntopaz is an awesome find for me :)
You can do both ways actually, but prefferably still by single entries. And Dapp is not really mine, just a honour to act as Art curator ;)

I'm fond of photography. I like to take pictures of the striking details of an objective that catches my attention, such as clouds, the eyes of people, hands and feet, gardens and flowers, wildlife and still life, among many other details.

Yes! Kind of a challenge for you i guess. So do it! There are some cameras which allow to see in black and white through viewfinder even, either at least make settings to analyse a photo on camera screen in black and white at once. It really helps at first stage
