Dark pencil portrait-shocked-with process shots
i would say its a girl with may be glowing eyes because even with the shadow the eye catches a lots of light.
this was a very quick drawing. i used 2b mechanical pencil for almost the whole thing and 4b graphite pencil to darken the darker parts. tilting the pencil gives you broad lines like digital brushes and covering more area becomes easy.

I've never had natural talent for drawing; so I enjoy seeing the progress shots as you build it up. Starts to make more sense. My boys are getting into it now, mostly from the anime/manga side, and they're already much better than I am. Great work.
thank you. there are a lots of artist that don't come into this because of natural talent. art is almost like any other job. the more you practice the better you get at it. if your boys are starting at a young age, they will become so much better.....

At first sight I thought it is digital. Beautiful drawing and she looks like she is looking at fire or something really bright, or maybe it is the way some people's eyes light up and sparkle even in dark.
