Digital painting-tree on a rock,with process shots

in #ntopaz5 years ago (edited)

ntopaz-image-0Finally after a long time i got back to digital painting.
rather than painting faces i decided to go with natural objects because if i am to paint digitally, i will probably paint landscapes. it feels that putting colors in faces is not really my thing.
i can draw faces with pencil quite well, but when it comes to color, i mess things up.

here are some process shots of the drawing

You thank us for entering your blog, but I'm sure all of us are grateful that you share this beautiful art. My congratulations.

Is it a bonsai? and you have not worked in gray scale your digital portraits, so it is easier to color, try it, maybe it works for you, on youtube there are many tutorials that can also help you.

I like your painting, especially because of the texture on the tree. ;)

thanks, i haven't tried gray scale... mostly i just try to paint in with color. i guess thats why i mess up. i will give it a try
