I covered this song as a tribute to Egor Letov, a Soviet and Russian poet and
musician and leader of GrOb the most famous Russian punk band of that
time.The former Soviet Union had, despite repression, a flourishing punk
scene.
The song that best epitomizes the last years of the USSR, is this sarcastic
(and catchy) Всё идёт по плану (Everything is going according to plan), a
melody written by Egor Letov that is sung still nowadays at Russian parties.

English translation:
