ULTIMATUM [ENG/ITA]

Hi everyone!!!
Today I will show you another hot air balloon that I did few years ago for the same Art and Decoration Aerostatics Competition, Flying Frescoes, organized by the ARIA Association.
The event took place in Pizzoli (AQ). His title is “Ultimatum” paper painted with acrylic colors and measure m 5x12.

Oggi vi mostrerò un’altra mongolfiera che ho realizzato qualche anno fa per lo stesso concorso a premi di Arte e Decorazione Areostatica, Affreschi Volanti, organizzato dall’Associazioe ARIA.
La manifestazione si è svolta a Pizzoli (AQ). Il suo titolo è “Ultimatum” carta dipinta con acrilici e misura m 5x12.

As we can see the theme is on ecology.

Come possiamo vedere il tema riguarda l’ecologia.

There are three very angry wild animals, a lion, a bear and a tiger.

Ci sono tre animali feroci molto arrabbiati, un leone un orso e una tigre.

We can hundestand why they are angry if we look at the landscape around them. We see nuclear power plants, road with traffic jam full of smog, large buildings of grey concrete, bare and dry trees. A trasformed planet where istaed of green there is the grey both on the ground and in the air, where there is no more respect for nature and the first place there is only profit for man.
He is also an animal, the more dangerous of planet, but the time will come for him too in which he will have to deal with nature. Which has already begun to be felt.

Possiamo capire la causa della loro rabbia se guardiamo il paesaggio intorno a loro. Vediamo centrali nucleari, strade con ingorghi piene di smog, grandi costruzioni di cemento grigio, alberi spogli e secchi. Un pianeta trasformato dove al posto del verde emerge il grigio sia in terra che in aria, dove non c’è più rispetto per la natura e al primo posto c’è solamente il profitto per l’uomo. Anche lui è un’animale, il più pericoloso del pianeta, ma anche per lui arriverà il momento in cui dovrà fare i conti con la natura. La quale ha già iniziato a farsi sentire.

Here we are at Pizzoli (AQ) on the prizegiving day. In this photo the hot air balloon it is inflated to be presented to the jury and the public. With this hot air balloon I won the I° Prize.
The nature is giving an "Ultimatum" to man if he does nothing to save the planet. We hope it's not too late....!!!

Qui siamo a Pizzoli (AQ)il giorno della premiazione. In questa foto la mongolfiera viene gonfiata per essere presentata alla giuria e al pubblico. Anche con questa mongolfiera ho vinto il I° Premio.
La natura sta dando un "Ultimatum" all'uomo se non farà nulla per salvare il pianeta. Speriamo che non sia troppo tardi....!!!
