LIKE THE LEAVES / COME LE FOGLIE (ENG/ITA)

Hi!!!
The work that I present to you today, represents Autumn, even if in Italy it is Spring. The climate change caused such an imbalance that the seasons are no longer as they once were.
Unfortunately, it happens more and more often to attend extreme meterological events around the world in every season.
Man’s fault, that for his greed of power and money declared war on nature succeeding in a few years to destroy a planet.

Il lavoro che vi presento oggi, rappresenta l’autunno, anche se in Italia è primavera. I cambiamenti climatici hanno provocato uno squilibrio tale che non esistono più le stagioni come una volta. Purtroppo, succede sempre più spesso di assistere ad eventi meteorologici estremi in tutto il mondo in qualsiasi stagione.
Colpa dell’ uomo, che per la sua ingordigia di potere e denaro ha dichiarato guerra alla natura riuscendo in pochi anni a distruggere un pianeta.

What to say, reading a poem by Giuseppe Ungaretti “Soldiers” it seemed appropriate to this work.
“We are as in autumn on branches the leaves”

Che dire, leggendo una poesia di Giuseppe Ungaretti “Soldati” mi è sembrata appropriata a questo lavoro.
“Si sta come d’autunno sugli alberi le foglie”

But, you will ask why the weather with this immage!!!
Because today is a rain day and looks like autumn then this immage it seemed right for the day, also for its colors.

Ma, vi chiederete perchè il meteo con questa immagine!!!
Perchè oggi è una giornata piovosa e sembra autunno quindi questa immagine mi è sembrata adatta alla giornata, anche per i suoi colori.

My cat was always near me, and always slept over my works. "Was", because last year it is dead, it was 16. Its name was Daron, it was a beautiful Persian cat with a lively character. It was my assistent watever I did.

Il mio gatto era sempre vicino a me, e si addormentava sopra i miei lavori. "Era", perché l’anno scorso è mancato, aveva 16 anni. Si chiamava Daron, era un bel persiano rosso con un caratterino vivace. Era il mio assistente qualunque cosa facessi.

The work slowly takes shape, all materials are ready to be sticked according to a designer prefixed in the mind. Python skin, trimmings, raffia, tin cans, ropes, fabrics shape themselves while you are attached to the jute. A long work and patience.

Il lavoro lentamente prende forma, tutti i materiali sono pronti per essere attaccati secondo un disegno prefisso nella mente. Pelli di pitone, passamanerie, rafia, lattine, corde, stoffe si modellano mentre vengono attaccate alla juta. Un lungo lavoro di pazienza.

Well!!! I conclude my story with the whole image of the work. Now all that remains is to hope you like it and….at the next appointment, with another of my works.
