[CR] Paint your Dream

Relatively few people know how an artist uses digital tools and therefore remain stuck in the "computer did it" mode of appreciation.
So, basically, the quality of the work suffers as we begin to see wider interest in the use of digital imaging tools...but this is a necessary step on the way to be considered as art like any other traditional art.. When we approach a critical mass of individuals the chaff will be sorted out, as always.
Viewing a work made with digital tools is more like experiencing a poem, in that the bringing forth of that image into a material space represents not only the poem/artwork itself but the "performance" of a specific set of visualization tools.

The "computer did it" phrase always makes me so sad, sometimes furious also. Even though i started as a handcut collage artist i had equal respect for both mediums. They are tools after all and both have a mind to use them.

Stunning artwork as always and enjoyed the content of the post equaly:)I am waiting for the animated version:):)

Thanks George for your comment... and my congrats to your 1st place in the poster competition...there's already an animated version but lacking response here on steemit I didn't post it... you can watch it on facebook https://www.facebook.com/motionartwhornung/videos/468714713538487/
