It's a Plane.. It's a Boat, NO it's...

Hey everyone, well it's BOTH, how cool is this 'badboy' I never knew a two seater amphibious Airplane existed, well here it is, and it looks magnificent! I recently attended a Mercedes Benz club that my landlord belongs to and the cool thing was, they had tons of interesting aircraft.

This particular plane really peaked my interest, at first I thought it was a rather interesting looking unit, what was I missing, at a closer glance it dawned on me, seaplane?

It sure was, with retractable wheels for water landings, a 'fly by wire' control system in this neat little two seater amphibious craft!

I would assume this would be much safer than traditional aircraft? I guess a pilot would be able to elucidate on this matter better, but with its ability to be able to land on both water and land it gives many more options for emergency landings.

The motor and propeller located at the rear of the wing, for optimal performance at both water and land based landings, very interesting indeed, nice looking I think!

This was quiet an interesting and entertaining day, they had quiet a few what looked to be vintage aircraft from all over the world, including a few helicopters taking people for 'flips' free of charge, how cool is that?
