RE: The Kind Of Steem App Most Likely To Achieve Mainstream Success
I would encourage all developers to try all kinds of solutions to attract customers to their experience. I hope the successful ones are those who provide ownership.
That's what I hope, too. But demonetization is something to look into seriously.
I think that this would be a good use of light accounts where ownership is withheld until some level of earning has been achieved, with the earning being tracked. Potentially an ownership progress bar might be fun for some to play with where purchasing a few tokens speeds the process. RCs can be given so all interaction is possible.
An authoritarian mindset, to say the least...
Jump through 'approved hoops' before any approval....?
Communism, much?
Mainstream people lap that shit up.

Remember the time everyone complained about Facebook, but still kept using it? This guy is doing the same not realizing this time it's a bit different. He doesn't realize that the users of the platform are also the stakeholders of the platform. They have a vested interest in keeping the platform alive and well.
So all his crying and fingerpointing is of course going to result in downvotes.
He says it's communism. I don't agree. Staking your money and effort in this world-wide database of information and art, is every way a libertarian capitalist dream come true.
I don't remember people generally complaining about Facebook, at least not for even remotely similar reasons than on Steem.
Look, the expression "communist psy op" should tell you enough for you to not take that stuff seriously. It gets flagged to the ground for a good reason. This time, Bernie is doing a service to the community.
this place is a commie psy op....
