One Photo Every Day: 258/365, Visiting old friend at her shop, ไปเยี่ยมเพื่อนที่ร้าน, the OPED project.

Today I was persuaded to drop by my old friend's shop at Amarin Plaza. She has a very interesting shop full of hand made ceramics.

My friend just has several new pieces of ceramics delivered from the factories to her shop yesterday so she just wanted to show them off. There are several new big blue-and-white vases, pots and coffee sets. She asked me to take photos of all her new collections of ceramics with my iPhone. Then, she took photos with her Samsung so that we could compare the quality of these photos. She was quite disappointed with those photos taken by my mobile. It seemed that her photos appeared much brighter and clearer than mine. She asked me to reset my camera for more light, but that was not possible. I could not understand why there is such a big difference between our phones' cameras.

My friend was very fond of her new cups and saucers and her big vase which has been requested by her special customers. She showed me photos of her overseas customers who returned to Bangkok and revisited her shop for more purchase. Some of the customers brought her designer chocolates from Harrods (the branch in Bangkok!) and other designer or artistic objects. I could almost offer to work for free in her shop for all the goodies her customers gave her as presents! I am not surprised that she would attract lots of loyal customers. Today, she offered me fruits as a snack. Her Thai masseur who now lives and works in Sydney dropped by the shop before leaving for Australia the following week. My friend gave her six bowls to take back home. She carefully wrapped them up while chatting away about her life and ceramics. Her energy is very good for boosting my enthusiasm during a sluggish day.

วันนี้เพื่อนที่มีร้านขายเครื่องเคลือบ และเซรามิกชวนให้ไปดูของ ที่พึ่งสั่งเข้ามาจากโรงงานที่ต่างจังหวัด เธออยากจะอวดของใหม่และลวดลายใหม่ เธอของให้เราถ่ายรูปของที่มาใหม่ด้วยไอโฟนของเรา แล้วเธอก็ถ่ายภาพแบบนี้ด้วยแซมซุง เพื่อเราจะได้เปรียบเทียบรูปภาพกัน ดูแล้วเธอรู้สึกผิดหวังกับภาพที่ถ่ายด้วยไอโฟน รูปภาพของเธอในแซมซุงดูสว่างและชัดกว่ามาก เธอบอกให้เราเพิ่มแสงในกล้อง แต่เราบอกว่าทำไม่ได้ และต้องยอมรับว่าภาพของเธอดูสวยกว่ามากๆ เราก็ถ่ายรูปพวกแจกัน โถที่มาใหม่ และถ้วยกาแฟที่เธอโปรดปรานมากๆ

สักพักคนที่เป็นหมอนวดแผนโบราณของเธอก็แวะมาคุยกับเธอ เราก็เลยมีปาร์ตี้กินผลไม้และคุยกัน หมอนวดแผนโบราณคนนี้ได้ย้ายไปอยู่และทำงานที่ซิดนี ออสเตรเลียนานแล้ว ตอนนี้เขากลับมาเยื่ยมบ้านและมาลากลับบ้านภายในสัปดาห์หน้า เพื่อนของเราก็เลยมอบชามขนาดกลางให้เป็นของขวัญกลับบ้านไปหกใบ เธอก็ตั้งใจห่อให้อย่างดี พลางคุยเรื่องร้านและชีวิตกันอย่างครื้นเครง เพื่อนเราคนนี้ใจดีและรื่นเริงเสมอ เธอช่วยทำให้เรามีพลังมากขึ้นในวันที่มีบรรยากาศซึมเซา นอกจากนี้เธอยังมีลูกค้าต่างชาติกลับมาหาเธอประจำ เมื่อพวกเขากลับมาเที่ยวกรุงเทพฯอีก และเธอมักจะได้รับของฝากแปลกๆ และอร่อยๆ จนทำให้เราอยากสมัครมาทำงานให้ฟรีบางวัน เผื่อจะได้ของฝากแจ๋วๆ อร่อยๆกับเขาบ้าง
