One Photo Every Day: 259/365, I got stuck in traffic jam in Bangkok, รถติดขยับไม่ได้ที่กรุงเทพฯ, the OPED project.

Yesterday evening I really got stuck in traffic jam in Bangkok.

I was quite distressed as I would definitely be late for my dinner appointment. Luckily the colours of sunset diverted my attention away from the traffic. So I had the chance to take some photos. I rarely go out during rush hour in Bangkok. The lighting from stuck cars and lit up buildings gave me another perspective on evening atmosphere. Drape shopping centers suddenly came to life in the evening. I realized what I have been missing these days: I missed the opportunity of taking photos of high rise buildings at night. This gave me an idea, I should have a serious walk, exploring night time photography soon! I particularly like to see the glass panels reflecting the golden light of the sunset in Bangkok.

(The traffic jam allowed me to see advertisements of new condo projects alone the way, so many new projects along just one short road)

เมื่อวานนี้ตอนเย็น เราเจอรถติดแบบขยับไม่ได้เลย ทำให้กังวลว่าจะไปตามนัดกินข้าวเย็นไม่ทัน โชคดีที่แสงของพระอาทิตย์ตก ทำให้เรากลับไปคิดถึงการถ่ายรูปตึกที่สะท้อนแสงสีทองไกลออกไป ทำให้เป็นการเผชิญรถติดที่ไม่สูญเปล่า ปกติเราจะไม่เดินทางชั่วโมงเร่งด่วนในกรุงเทพฯ แต่เมื่อวานนี้เป็นการเปิดมุมมองของเรา ตึกและศูนย์การค้าที่ดูเทาๆกลับมาดูดีเมื่อแสงไฟถูกเปิดให้สว่างไสว บรรยากาศของถนนและตึกระฟ้ามีแสงสวยงาม ทำให้กรุงเทพมีบรรยากาศตอนกลางคืนที่ต่างจากตอนกลางวันมาก มิน่าเล่าหลายคนชอบใชัชีวิตตอนกลางคืน

นี่ทำให้เราเริมคิดที่จะมาเดินท่องราตรี เพื่อถ่ายภาพเมืองหลวงยามค่ำ ข้อดีของรถติดอีกอย่างคือทำให้เราได้เห็นภาพโครงการก่อสร้างคอนโดใหม่ตลอดทาง ทำให้อดคิดไม่ได้ว่าถ้าเศรษฐกิจตกหล่มขึ้นมา จะเกิดอะไรขึ้นกับโครงการเหล่านี้ ถ้าเราเป็นธนาคารที่ปล่อยกู้ เราก็รอยึดทั้งที่ดินและโครงการเมื่อมีปัญหา แล้วค่อยประมูลขายแพงๆให้ผู้ลงทุนต่างชาติอย่างแน่นอน!
