Decentralized Social Media Apps to Join and Watch Out For

Many of us has been part of social media apps or websites such as Facebook, Twitter, tumblr, etc. However, we don't get anything from them other than socializing unless you are using your accounts for marketing and online business purposes.

What's getting momentum at the moment is decentralized social media apps or websites where you can't just share, rather earn some compensation from using them. Steemit, for me, remains the best community yet.

There are other social media apps/sites already, while some are yet to fully launch.

@onosocial

This is a new app which I believe is similar to Facebook. The pattern is not exactly how Steemit works, but it is pretty promising to join in. @onosocial has a Steemit account by simply clicking on the profile, and give a follow.

This is what everyone might have been waiting for. If you want to do posting like what you do on Instagram, then @appics can be a great platform to watch for. It is yet to fully launch, and excited what it has in store for us.

sphere.social is another upcoming social media app. According to the website, new exchanges will be announced soon, and it's something to look forward to.

Sola

Sola has been operating for years. It has a lot users already. However, there weren't quite a lot of activities there. Consider the low value of Sola Coins as well.
You can download the app from Play Store or App Store.

Lit Mithrill App

Lit is an app where you can post live photos. It means you cannot upload photos from your Gallery. You'll need mobile data or Wi-Fi so you can take pictures, and will directly upload on the app. Still waiting for a exchanger be incorporated on the app.
