1. Kaiane Aldorino

Kaiane Aldorino is former Miss World from Gibraltar and current mayor of Gibraltar.

She won Miss World crown in 2009 held in Johannesburg, South Africa.

She served a Deputy Mayor of Gibraltar from 2014 to 2017 and since 2017 she became Mayor.

She has been honoured with Freedom of the City of Gibraltar (First woman to receive this honour) and Gibraltar Medallion of Honour.

She was the first Gibraltarian to reach semifinals of a international beauty pageant and is the only winner from Gibraltar.

2. Pyotr Kapitsa

Pyotr Kapitsa was a Soviet physicist who is known for his works related to low temperature physics.

He worked as the first director of Mond Laboratory in Cambridge .

He was the first to discover the linear dependence of resistance on magnetic filed for many metals.

He was also the inventor and developer of apparatus for making liquid helium.

He was co-honoured with Nobel Prize in Physics along with Arno Allan Penzias and Robert Woodrow Wilson in 1978 for his study of liquid helium which led to the discovery of superfluidity.

He was also a winner of Faraday Medal, Franklin Medal, Rutherford Medal and prize and he was a Fellow of Royal Society of London.

3. Sourav Ganguly

Sourav Ganguly is an Indian former cricketer who captained India in test and ODI formats and is current president of Cricket Association Bengal.

He also works as President of editorial board of Wisden India.

He is regarded as one of the greatest batsmen and one of the great captain.

He is called as God of the Off side because of the ease with which he used to score runs on off side.

He scored over 10000 ODI runs and over 7000 test runs making him one of the best.

Besides his batting, he use to be a useful part time medium pace bowler and has taken 100 ODI wickets.

He holds the record of being the only player to win Man of the Match Awards in 4 consecutive ODI matches.

4. Anastasia Myskina

Anastasia Myskina is a Russian former professional tennis player who is a winner of French Open grand slam women's singles title in 2004.

In winning French Open singles title in 200, she became the first Russian female tennis player to win a grand slam singles title.

She held a highest WTA ranking of 2 in 2004 and has won 10 WTA singles titles along with 5 WTA doubles titles and was part of Fed Cup winning teams in 2004 and 2005.

She was named as Russian Cup Female Tennis Player of the Year in 2003.

5. Harrison Dillard

Harrison Dillard is an American former track and field athlete and is on among the 3 players who have won Olympic titles in both sprinting and hurdling events.

He won 100 m gold and 4 X 100 m relay in 1948 London Olympics and repeated a gold double in 1956 Helsinki Olympics winning 110 m hurdles and 4 X 100 m relay.

He has been inducted into U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame and IAAF Hall of Fame and is a winner of James E. Sullivan Award.
