Jessica Simpson is an American singer, actress and fashion designer who was among 50 Most Beautiful People named by People Magazine.

She started her music career when she was 16 by signing a contract with Columbia Records and her debut studio album Sweet_Kisses and the album was a big hit with more than 4 million copies of album all over the world.

Since then, she has released 6 more studio albums and 4 of them are a big success with her eighth studio album is due for release in later part of this year.

She has also been into acting and has acted on several television shows and films as well with movies like Employee of the Month, Blonde Ambition, The Love Guru, Private Valentine: Blonde & Dangerous.

She has won 3 Billboard Music Awards, 2 People's Choice Awards and 3 Teen Choice Awards.

She was on FHM Magazine's list of 100 sexiest women in the world for 6 consecutive years from 2003 to 2008 and Maxim Magazine's Hot 100 from 2002 to 2007.

2. Nikola Tesla

Nikola Tesla was a Serbian-American inventor, electrical engineer, physicist and futurist who is known for his contribution to design and of AC (Alternating Current) electricity supply system.

He got a patent of Alternating Current Induction Motor and related polyphase AC patents and is known for his inventions such as radio remote control vehicle, rotating magnetic field of tesla coil.

SI unit of magnetic flux density is named after tesla in his honour.

He had many patents in his name and was a winner of IEEE Edison Medal.

3. Sunil Gavaskar

Sunil Gavaskar is an Indian former international cricket player who was the first to 10000 runs in test cricket and was one of the prolific run scorer in test cricket.

He is known with nickname Little Master and held the record of scoring highest test centuries (with 34 centuries) for almost 20 years before it was broken by another little master Sachin Tendulkar in 2005.

He was also the first to score centuries in both innings of a test 3 times.

Border Gavaskar trophy is being held for test match series between India and Australia in his and great Australian all rounder Allan Border.

He has been honoured by Indian government with Padma Bhushan, the third highest Indian civilian honour.

4. Alice Munro

Alice Munro is a Canadian writer who mainly writes short stories and she is someone who is said to have revolutionized the architecture of short stories.

Her stories explores the complexities of humans in prose which are uncomplicated and she is considered among the greatest contemporary writers of fiction.

Her works include Dance of the Happy Shades, Who Do You Think You Are, Runaway, The Progress of Love, The Love of a Good Woman, Too Much Happiness.

She has been a winner of Governor General's Literary Award from Canada and has won Nobel Prize in Literature and Man Booker International Prize for her contributions to literature.

She is also a winner of Commonwealth Writers Prize and is a foreign honorary member of American Academy of Arts and Letters and has been made the Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters from France government.

5. Kurt Alder

Kurt Alder was a German chemist who mainly worked on organic chemistry and is famous for Diels-Alder Reaction.

Alder was a Chemistry student at University of Berlin and earned his Ph.D from University of Kiel where he was appointed as a reader after his Ph.D.

He grew interest in synthesis of organic compounds and published more than 150 papers on the same.

He along with his teacher Otto Diels were honoured together with Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1950 for Diels-Alder Reaction(an organic chemical reaction between a conjugated diene and a substituted alkene, commonly termed the dienophile, to form a substituted cyclohexene derivative).
